[00:00:00] Speaker A: Foreign. [00:00:07] Speaker B: Hello, everyone. Welcome back to Weird World Adventures, the podcast. I'm your host, Mallory, and I'm here to show you just how weird this world of ours really is. And I'm very excited today because I have Christian Kenny here with me today and he is going to highlight his creation of Aurora, which is really exciting, and he's used it to work with New York detectives. So before we get into a bunch of questions here, Christian, I wanted to ask you to talk a little bit about Aurora and kind of how that came to be. [00:00:37] Speaker A: Sure. How's it going, everybody? So Aurora is a crime fighting software, but it's different in the sense that it doesn't use the same types of parameters and background data that normal crime software would use, or any software really, for that matter. Our software is heavily influenced by numerology, astrology and tarot and other cult systems, really, because they all kind of are the same thing, different, different modes of the same thing. And what our software does is it can give you the capability, percentage of an individual being able to commit such a crime as Merc, not probability, because that's something very different. Capability, because just because somebody has the capability doesn't mean they will act upon it. Right. And Aurora kind of happened by accident. We were building out a tarot deck for the true crime community, tackling a few problems in that dimension where, you know, true crime really has become a really big genre. People love it. A lot of people, you know, watch all the Netflix shows and podcasts and whatnot. And we kind of wanted to make those people who are so into these types of digestible medias that are very violent and that often glorify serial killers. We wanted to challenge them to kind of look a little bit deeper into the why, the who, the what, and almost look into the mirror and reflect and see these types of traits and archetypes that are actually in all of us. And during the process of building that deck, I noticed a tremendous amount of clustering in the data. So that when we. When we were making the deck, I perhaps I should give a little bit more information. We didn't pick people for the deck. We, we just took the. We started off with 200. We're at 1600 now, but we started off with 200 of the most notorious, most well documented, most notorious and known serial killer crimes and cases across the world. And I calculated each and every individual's birth chart, astrology chart, and without knowing their name because, you know, a lot of these names are household names, I didn't want to be influenced and calculated their tower card. But in the process of doing that, you know, there's, there's a bunch of minor cards as well. You have, you know, you have cups, your swords, your pentacles. And I noticed so many different patterns. And I wrote down notes and I was like, I have to come back to this when I'm done making this tarot deck. And, and that's what I did. I went back and I realized that they were, they were such strong patterns. I said, hey, let me, let me, let me use this, add to it. So we added 1600 on top of that data sets, and we were able to get an up to an 89% accuracy rate on the capability measure. 89%, believe it or not, is very high for these kinds of softwares. It's definitely higher than what I personally thought it was going to be. However, there's things like people who didn't actually commit the crimes. Being in jail for these crimes, that's a big thing that could skew data. And also the fact that, you know, we made a request from the, to the DOJ to see if we can, you know, possibly have access to some of their records. And we got set. We think we got shut down for that. If we had that, we'd probably maybe get it a little bit higher. I think the highest it could probably possibly be maybe is like 95, 96%. Because again, there's that factor of people being in jail for murder that didn't actually commit the crime. And that is something that we did find during our research is we did find some people that were convicted that I'm almost very certain didn't actually commit the crime. And after looking into the cases, they were usually cups. And what happened is I think that these people took the blame for a spouse or a loved one that actually did commit the crime, because that's something a cop would do. And then they just went to jail and never said a word. Just to keep their, you know, they're out of love to keep the loved one out of jail. Right now currently, Aurora sits at a funny place because it's offered for free. Detectives can use it, private investigators can use it. If you have a license. We don't charge anything. However, there's, you know, there's departments and police stations and stuff like that that would use it completely for the whole station and, you know, all investigations because it's kind of like a triage and it saves a lot of time. But there's the court system and the government kind of, when it comes to like us. And, and using this for using astrology for a court case, they don't tend to think that that's applicable or, or, or real. You know, so there's always that question like, you know, like, imagine if, if you know, the murderer's lawyer goes up to the jury and goes, did you know that they use astrology to catch this guy? And then if the jury doesn't really believe in that stuff, you know, that could cause some problems for sure. [00:06:17] Speaker B: Right? You did a really good job explaining how it came to be. But I'll ask, was there a particular aha. Moment where you realized archetypal systems could be applied to something as concrete as criminal psychology, or was there something kind of going through your mind as you processed that? [00:06:38] Speaker A: I would say one of the biggest things was when I was doing the swords, there were so many swords and I was like, I was like, oh geez. I got nervous a little bit. I was like, am I going to have any pentacles or cups? Because they were just so many calculations that just come. Sword, sword, sword, sword. So that was really like kind of the tipping point where I, where I started writing down the notes. But other than that, like I, you know, I've, I've used astrology for, for so many things. And, and I'm not the only person like, you know, our government, you know, big three letter agencies use astrology. There's a very famous quote from a billionaire stockbroker guy, I forgot his name, but he's. Millionaires don't use astrology, billionaires do. And, and it's true because if you pay attention to a lot of these big moves in the stock market, they happen on specific dates on astrology, you know, I personally used astrology for things like gambling. I've successfully gotten myself banned from the high roller room at Hard Rock. You know, there I've, I've helped my brother, my brother's a stock broker. I've helped him with the, with making deals. With astrology, it can really be used for anything because it's like, it's just the basic foundation of how everything works and that, you know, there's certain days that are good for certain things and certain days that are bad for other things. And then that, you know, it all, it all goes the same for people too. We all, we all have different archetypes and all of our archetypes are capable of doing X, Y and Z. But it's our free will and our drive and us choosing the courage over comfort in order to, to reach that like Best self, I guess you could say. [00:08:26] Speaker B: Right, right. And is it almost treating astrology like. Like an algorithm? Kind of like finding the pattern in it? Is that kind of where the work comes from? [00:08:36] Speaker A: It is an algorithm. It's like the original algorithm. It's the original pattern. It's. And it's. And it's old math. Right. Astrology is math. Tarot is math. Numerology is obviously math. Every. Literally everything can be broken down to math, even frequency. Right. So, like, you know, I have this seltzer water in my hand right now. This seltzer water is vibrating at a certain frequency. We could read these frequencies with certain tools. That frequency is a number. That number can be multiplied, divided, or resonated with another number to counteract the seltzer war. Right. That might be a bad example. Like, you know, people do this with cancer. Like, there's been research with this with cancer, where they. They're able to lock down the specific frequency of the tumor, and then they do a mathematical equation to find out the counteracting frequency, and then they're able to destroy the tumor that way. A lot of papers being published nowadays over the course of, like, the last two years of cancer research, of people doing that. [00:09:41] Speaker B: Amazing. How did the New York detectives first respond when you proposed using archetypal clustering in their casework? [00:09:49] Speaker A: I had to go through the private investigators first, who are usually retired officers, and the private investigators themselves were actually picking up cases that went cold from the actual police department, which is usually what happens, because, you know, families will go and pay a good amount of money if the police department isn't doing what they're supposed to do. And through. Through word of mouth, you know, these guys still hang out with people who are still on the force and whatnot. I was able to kind of grow that web of more and more people being able to. And again, we're offering it for free. So, like, there's really no downside for them. You know, it's not like we're charging government contract rates here. If we did, I'd probably be sitting in a mansion right now. But, you know, it's free. [00:10:39] Speaker B: What does risk pattern tracking mean in practice? Is it kind of similar in ways to profiling, or is it just categorically different? [00:10:48] Speaker A: Completely different from profiling? Profiling. Profiling works as far as, like, how the CIA does it, but it's very different. If you were to add profiling and what we do together, that's kind of crazy. And that would be a very dangerous weapon, in my personal opinion. And I say weapon because that could be used against people. Right. So you could, you could determine this person will kill somebody at some point. We should just put them in jail now. And that's when we get into dystopian universe. Right. What's different from, from profiling with us is it's giving you, there's certain aspects in a chart, many different versions of it and different ones carry a higher percentage of, to push the needle in that direction of being capable. Right. The more that you have, the more that needle is going to go up and the more the percentage goes up. But again, you can have a 70% capability. That doesn't mean that you would ever do cold blooded murder. That doesn't. That also doesn't even mean that if you were walking home at night and you know, you have a concealed carry, but somebody tries to mug you with a gun, that doesn't mean you're actually going to pull out your concealed carry and defend yourself either. That's. It just means that you have the capability of doing so. Because there are some people who quite literally, even if they had the gun in their hands and it was life or death from them, they wouldn't be able to pull the trigger. It's just the archetypes of who we are and how we're made. [00:12:21] Speaker B: And you're very careful to say that Aurora doesn't predict guilt. So where exactly is the line between a fresh investigative lens and something that could bias an investigation? [00:12:34] Speaker A: The bias usually comes from people because the, because the, the, the software could never actually be biased. Right. Because it's only, it's looking at, it's looking at astrology. Where, where I could see bias coming in is let's say you have 15 suspects. It's hour two of the murder. The detective really thinks it's Steve, but then he runs all the names of the suspects through the software and Steve is 10% and there's some guy up there, that's 70%. That's where the bias comes in. Because a detective might be like, screw it, I'm not using this triage session. I'm going after Steve. You know, that's, that's where, that's where it could come in my eyes. Maybe there's another direction where bias can come in. Maybe people who just don't want to use it because they don't believe in astrology and we're very careful about advertising the fact that it's astrology based. We don't even advertise that. Right. If somebody access asks us, of course we're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna tell them, but at the end of the day, it's, this is the software, this is what it does, this is the accuracy rate. You want to use it, you can use it, it's free. If not, you know, don't. [00:13:49] Speaker B: Interro and numerology are usually framed almost as tools for self reflection. So it's interesting to see it used as like an external assessment of other people. Do you feel like it's one of the first uses you've seen of it being done that way? [00:14:07] Speaker A: No, no, it's, it's just that tarot is mostly used for introspection and shadow. And shadow work. Right. And, but it's always been used for both. Although, like it's, it's become so popular now that most people aren't even using it correctly. Right. Yeah. And, and, and I would say that, I would, I would actually say that even in the past, and now most people are using it for readings of other people, not so much introspection or shadow work on themselves. And that's kind of another reason why we went with the true crime deck. Because the true crime deck forces you to do the shadow work. It forces you to choose Courage over Comfort, which is the name of my company, Courage Over Comfort. Right. Because it's easy to be comfortable. And, and when we get a, a response or something triggers something inside of us, it's very easy to say, oh, you know what? I don't want to see that. I don't want that. I'm going to forget about that. It's harder and it takes courage to say, why does that bother me? Oh, that bothers me because when I was six years old, my dad did this, this down the third to me. And, and that's why it bothers me. And then you come out on the other end having healed yourself from a traumatic thing that you probably had no idea was even there because it was buried and would have probably taken 10 years with a therapist, you know, but you figured it out yourself. [00:15:44] Speaker B: Is there a version of the Jungian or any other type of archetype theory in Aurora or is it something just completely independent? [00:15:53] Speaker A: There's influences from many different occult modalities. Right. Because when, when I first started doing this, you know, you have the Kabbalah system, you have the Crowley system, there's just so many different systems. And, and after like practicing and learning all of them, I figured out what some of them got right and what some of them got wrong. And I, I basically created my own Formula to make the calculations. And it's a little bit different than each one, but it has something of everything in all of them also, because these, some of these systems only had one lens. Whereas, like one system is only planets, one system is also astrology, meaning everything. One system is only numerology, one system is only tarot, one system is sounds, one system is tastes. Right. There's so many different ones and I just basically combine them all. So like one calculation to do all of them. [00:16:57] Speaker B: Right. What initially got you into kind of the occult and terror sphere? [00:17:03] Speaker A: Foreign. I've always been a black sheep weirdo. [00:17:09] Speaker B: Me too. [00:17:10] Speaker A: You know, I mean, when I was really young, I, I had to be what, maybe 12 years old. The things that I was researching on my computer were probably like, probably like dmt, like looking up, like what happens when we die, Finding out that DMT gets released in your brain, then researching DMT, then researching how to synthesize and make DMT. And like I'm, I'm a 12 year old. Like, what are you doing? You know, so like, I've always really been into anything that's like outside the box, outside the main narrative. You know, I'm an artist as well. So, you know, we typically like to create and indulge in things that are new and original and haven't been done before. I like to, I like to walk down the path that hasn't been walked. Right. And if it, and if people do walk down that path, I'm going to do it a little bit different. [00:18:02] Speaker B: Right, Definitely. I love that. And what's the story? So you did release Killer Cards Tarot, right? So was there, what was the initial, I guess, catalyst for wanting to start Killer Cards Tarot? You kind of briefly talked about it before, before kind of moving over into Aurora. [00:18:20] Speaker A: So I had a big tarot project that I'm still working on. And when you're working on Tarot, there's a lot of in between time. [00:18:29] Speaker B: And [00:18:31] Speaker A: around that time it took two years to make Killer Cards Tarot. And around that time, you know, all those serial killer documentary was coming out. And I just, I noticed like, I seen a podcast where like they sold out a whole football stadium and like they were podcasting in the middle and, and it was a true crime podcast. And I'm like, I'm like, what? I'm like, I'm like, wow. I'm like, people really do like this stuff and I get it. Like, you know, there's the, they, they want to understand, right? And then there's also the shock Value people do like horror people, like shock value. And some of the things that I dislike about it is the, Is the glorification, right? So, like, why do you have Zac Efron as Ted Bundy? Like, all the girls love Zac Efron. Like, you know, I, you know, I understand how it happened. It was definitely a bunch of CEOs sitting around the round table, like, how do we sell this? And like, they're like, let's get Zach Afro. And that's what happened, right? Like, the consequences of that are kind of like, weird, right? Because then you had every other serial killer movie after that hiring like every 10 out of 10 male actor to be the, to be the lead, right? Because they want to get that, that, that movement behind it. And I, I wanted to create something that one. It's never been done before. Nobody's ever made a true crime tarot deck. Also, nobody's ever taken real people and put them on tarot deck. That's never been done before. And I wanted people to ask the hard questions that perhaps they're avoiding when they watch these movies and watch these TV shows and listen to these podcasts. I wanted to almost. I don't want to sound like a bad guy, but I wanted to almost trick them into doing the shadow work, right? Because I know that they're going to like it, I know that they're going to buy it and use it. They may not realize that by doing this, they're actually digesting and moving through shadow work that has to do with their obsession with these types of digestible medias. [00:20:31] Speaker B: Really interesting. Where do you see your research going next? If it's kind of more with the Aurora, is it going deeper into law enforcement, applying it to other fields? [00:20:43] Speaker A: So I'm a little. I'm, like I said, I'm a mess. So I do everything right. You know, we have children's books, we have other tarot decks, we have so many other softwares. One of our next releases is Circuits of Consciousness, which is a. It's another Tarot deck, but it is kind of pointing the finger at old AI nonsense and slop that's going on in the world. And so what we did was we. I actually partnered up with a nuclear computer scientist I believe is his title, who I'm not allowed to name because he asked to remain nameless because he works with the government. And we built a local threadripper supercomputer, which we. If you don't know anything about supercomputers, they come completely blank. They're not. They don't do anything unless you put stuff in there and train them and whatnot. So we trained it on occult systems, we trained it on tarot, astrology, Kabbalah, numerology, everything that you can imagine as far as occult symbols go and pattern recognition and all that stuff. Then we have access to all of our history, history, database. Then we let it have access to social media and make those connections of what's happening now, what happened in the past, how people reacted, how people react now, the different sides, the different societies, all the different groups of people and how they go against each other and so how they work together, all that stuff, right? And then we said, you know, the magician card today versus a hundred years ago has the same meaning, but it's different, it's a different principle, right? Because 100 years ago we didn't have dollar bills, right? We had like coins and stuff like that or so on and so forth. There's different aspects of society that changes so much that it kind of changes the meaning of the card. So we said, okay, 100 years from now with the current state of what's going on now, what has happened in the past, where do you see the future being for society and how the magician card is going to apply to that? And then it would spit out like a two page thing explaining how this is what's going to happen to the best of my guessing ability and this is what it's going to mean. Then we would illustrate the card based upon what it said the future would be for that card then. And then, you know, put everything together, it's a whole deck. And, and we also illustrated the card in AI style. So the card, the cards were illustrated, hand illustrated. But, and this is a little bit of a secret, and this is the first podcast I'm saying this on because I wanted it to be almost like a aha moment, but well, we're gonna, we're gonna let, we're gonna let the cat out of the bag. So it's hand illustrated, but it's hand illustrated to look like it was AI. And we did that specifically because we wanted to kind of mess with people. Because if you go on the Internet nowadays there's a lot of AI bullshit, 100%, but there's also real artists posting real stuff. And you have a slew of comments, people, people saying AI don't buy this, AI, AI, AI. And nobody has any idea what they're talking about. They're just hopping on bad legs, right? So we want, we wanted to put this out there so that we do get those comments, and then the people kind of realize, oh, this is an AI. Somebody actually hand drawn this. Maybe I should stop talking so much and really think about, think about what's going on here because it's, it's kind of rampant right now. But yeah, we did that. We have world stage coming out, which is the same thing we did with true crime, but we did it with political figures. So thank you. Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, Donald Trump, Joe Biden, every political figure you could imagine. We did their astrology charts, we turned them inside out, figured out their archetypes, illustrated them onto cards. We also have a children's book and a children's tarot deck coming on, coming out. That's. It's for parents. So if you have young, young kids and you want them to be a better tarot reader than you do, or maybe you're not interested in tarot, maybe you just want to instill really good life lessons and morals or critical thinking into your child at an early age, which is a great idea. Right. So there's 78 stories for each one for each card. And it tells the lesson of the story in like Dr. Seuss style rhyme. Right. So the kid thinks it's getting a nice bedtime story, but it's actually teaching a life lesson that'll stick with them forever. But also, if they decide to pick up the tarot deck later on, they already know what the cards mean. Oh, I remember the full story. I remember the magician story. And they'll be able to read the cards more naturally than the average person who picks it up at say, 18, 20, 25, you know, whatever the age usually is. Yeah, we have so many cool projects and softwares and stuff. One more I'll give you. Is there. Have you ever heard of remote viewing? [00:25:51] Speaker B: Yes. Yes. [00:25:53] Speaker A: Okay, so everybody's capable of doing remote viewing. Some people are better at it naturally than others. And if you read the CIA files and you've watched the movies, some people are really good, some people are good, some people are even better. We designed a game where it trick. It's. It's a board game that you would play with friends, but it tricks you into sharpening your skills for remote viewing. Right. So it's almost like that game Picto something. Picture. Picture, whatever. The old board game. Yeah. So I forgot what it's called, something similar than that. But it follows the exact script and training program from the CIA Architect Archive. So you could actually find it on CIA.gov and they have the files. We just took the training program we turned it into a game. We have that, that's coming out as well. [00:26:43] Speaker B: That is very cool. I'm terrible at remote viewing, so [00:26:47] Speaker A: some people are better at the drawing aspect because like me personally, I can't do, I can't do the target remote viewing, but I could draw and that'll tell me way more than, than what I asked for. But as far as somebody saying locate this person, that didn't happen. [00:27:11] Speaker B: That's funny. I worked a lot for a long time with the Monroe Institute, which was the, in the organization they worked with, with a lot of the CIA files in Virginia. [00:27:20] Speaker A: I've heard. Yeah, I've heard of the Monroe. There's actually recently, over the last 812 months, I've seen a lot of colleges, like pretty big colleges, taking after what the Monroe Institute did and like offering these programs. And there's actually. I did. I'm not even sure if this was real, but I seen it on Instagram and it was, it was a pretty well known college that is offering like a witch class. [00:27:46] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:27:48] Speaker A: You've seen that? Yeah. I didn't really read into it, but I seen it. I was like, oh, that's a good, interesting. [00:27:53] Speaker B: I'm always fascinated by that. I took a lot of classes on like the, the anthropology side of the adult too, like the witchcraft and like cultural traditions. And I just love it so much. I have to ask, is there somebody that is skeptical or like, might have a trigger or reaction to astrology if they kind of walk away from this episode with an open question rather than coming to a conclusion? Conclusion. What would you want that to be? I guess what would you want to open their mind to? How it's different than what they would just expect it to be? [00:28:26] Speaker A: Sure. Yeah. And I can understand that because when I got into this stuff, when I get into anything really, I'm a skeptic. I always stay a skeptic. Right. Even today. I, I, you know, I wake up every day and I go over my day challenging every single idea that I have because I don't want to shut myself off to new information. Right. And if you, if you just give astrology a chance and I'm not talking about opening up your newspaper and reading the silly little articles that give you those, those are not, that's not astrology. That's not real. Okay? That's, that's, that's completely fake. But like actually like looking at astrology, you'll see and understand that it's very helpful. It's even helpful for your health. You know, I, I mean, I personally have helped many people with, like, warning them about things. Like, you know, you could see, you could see things about your parents in your charts, right? So like, I had a friend whose dad wasn't eating properly and was at very at risk for a heart attack because of a placement of a planet in his chart. And I told, I told my friend, I was like, listen, I was like, you got to tell your dad this. Down the third. His dad didn't listen. About a month later that ended up having a heart attack. Now he, he survived and now he changed his diet. But there's, there's, there's so many different things in astrology. And, and once you start using it, I can't tell you to convince you. Right. You have to actually experience it and use it yourself for you to be able to understand it. And even then, you should always challenge anything and everything, every day, all day. That just keeps your mind open, you know. [00:30:04] Speaker B: Definitely. Amazing. Well, thank you so much for coming on today, Christian. Where can people find Aurora? Find your tarot card deck? Where can they follow you? [00:30:14] Speaker A: Sure.
