Throughout history, we’ve idolized various legendary figures through epic tales of adventure and magic. Somehow, storytellers have taken real people who lived generally normal lives and grown and evolved their tales until they become mythological legends. For instance, the real Merlin was a bard (and possibly a druid) who later got immortalized in King Arthur’s Tale as an iconic wizard. The real Nicholas Flamel was a writer and was only called an alchemist by a publisher close to two hundred years after his death.
